How Much Does a Bespoke Wedding Gown Cost?
Caitlin creates one of a kind couture designs that start at $2000. The total price is determined by a number of factors like, construction time, fabric selection and embellishments. Like every client’s vision, every project is unique. Please contact us for a quote on your project, and Caitlin will guide you to the right selections for your needs.
How Long Does it Take to Create a Bespoke Gown?
The design process takes anywhere from three to twelve months. Project length is determined by the intricacies of each gown and the bride’s timeline. The length of construction is dependent upon the fabrics and details you select. Time is built-in for regular alterations and fittings, which allow you to oversee the creation of your vision throughout the project.
What is “Designer on Location”
This means that on the day of your wedding your gown will be personally and professionally transported to your venue by Caitlin. Once there she will help you slip into it and give you the personalized attention every bride deserves. Giving you the flexibility to relax, and treasure your wedding day.
Do You Design Custom Wedding Veils and Other Bridal Accessories?
Yes, Caitlin is able to create veils and accessories that perfectly match your custom gown. Give her your vision, and she will take it from there.
Do You do Fitting Sessions?
Yes we do. In order to ensure a perfect fit on your custom gown several fittings are necessary.
What Do I Need to Prepare Before My First Meeting With Caitlin?
In order to come prepared and to get the most our of your first consultation consider what trends and styles you are drawn to what silhouettes fit your body shape, and what fabrics you have in mind.
For inspiration, scroll through Pinterest, flip through bridal magazines, maybe even try on a few different silhouettes at a dress shop if your not sure exactly what you want. Make sure to take pictures and save pins to show Caitlin at your consultation of your “must-haves” and “definitely-nots” to give her a better idea of your needs and desires.
No detail is too small for a design to come from. Whether its a specific style of lace or a neckline you love on yourself, Caitlin can take the little details you love and make them into your dream gown. Not 100% sure on all the details? Not an issue, Caitlin can help to guide your ideas into a dress that fits your style and flatters your shape.
Do You Do Alterations?
Your Custom gown will require no alterations since it is made to your specific measurements. However, if you have already purchased a dress that must be altered Caitlin may be able to provide you with options she has available.
What is Your Payment Policy?
After your free initial consultation, a 50% deposit will be necessary to begin your gown. The remaining balance is due at the final fitting.
Caitlin accepts Venmo and credit cards, as well as cash or checks.
